About Me

Hello, beautiful souls! I’m Mabel Soto, the heart and hands behind Tree House Vegan. Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet, where I share my passion for vegan baking and a plant-based lifestyle.

At 32, my life is a delicious blend of flour, sugar, and a whole lot of compassion. Growing up in a family that cherished kitchen gatherings, my earliest memories are peppered with the aroma of freshly baked bread and the warmth of the oven. My grandmother, a wizard with a wooden spoon, taught me that food is not just nourishment but a language of love. However, it was during my college years that I discovered my true calling.

While studying Environmental Science, I became acutely aware of the impact our food choices have on our planet. This realization was a turning point, and I embraced veganism not just as a diet but as a way of life. Merging my newfound philosophy with my inherent love for baking, Tree House Vegan was born – a place to prove that indulgence and sustainability can coexist.

I poured my heart into learning everything about vegan baking. From mastering the art of egg substitutes to creating buttery flavors without butter, every challenge fueled my creativity. I experimented tirelessly, often turning my tiny apartment kitchen into a laboratory of sorts, much to the amusement (and delight) of my friends and family.

Tree House Vegan is more than just a blog; it’s a reflection of my journey and a tribute to the planet. Here, I share recipes that are close to my heart – each one crafted with care, love, and a deep respect for all living beings. Whether it’s a decadent chocolate cake or a rustic sourdough bread, my goal is to show the world that vegan baking is not only possible but incredibly delicious and fulfilling.

Beyond the blog, I’m just your average 32-year-old who loves hiking, yoga, and curling up with a good book. I believe in living a life filled with joy, kindness, and lots of homemade cookies.

Join me on this sweet adventure, and let’s bake the world a better place, one vegan treat at a time.

With all my love, Mabel Soto πŸŒΏπŸ’š
